PCP Direct

PCP (Primary Care Physician) Direct, allows MediMobile™ providers to quickly and easily send patient updates to referring physicians with little to no data entry. MediMobile™ utilizes a predefined template (defined by the provider) and auto-fills all information from the patient record. The provider then has the option to email or fax these notes either from the handheld device or the MediMobile™ website.

Standard notes include:

  • Admit Note
  • Update Note
  • Discharge Note

In the above example, all of the information was auto-filled from the patient record. The only typing required by the provider was comments in the “Additional Notes” field. All PCP Direct notes can be customized to fit organizational needs.

Provider A refers a patient to Provider B. Provider B is a MediMobile™ user and performs a service on the referred patient. When Provider B completes the visit, Provider B creates a bill. Once the bill is completed, Provider B selects PCP Direct within the MediMobile™ system to send the Discharge letter. PCP Direct auto-populates the referring doctor’s name, patient name, location, all procedures and diagnoses performed. Provider B has the option to enter specific notes into system. Once completed Provider B faxes or emails the letter to the referring physician from the MediMobile™ website or his/her handheld device. The completed process takes less than 7 seconds.
